On this day in 2008 was our last full day in Greece. We got up early so we could bus across Paros to the port and catch a ferry back to the mainland. We wanted to check out a restaurant called Ephessus while we were on the island of Paros so we thought we’d pop by for lunch on our first day there. Big, thick, waffles with ice cream and caramel sauce for brunch, what I was thinking I have no idea. Really tasty, but super sweet, I was on a sugar-high for most of the morning. We rented a scooter and explored the island of Naxos. Lunched in Apiranthos; cheese pie, pork with tomato sauce, and spaghetti, from a cozy courtyard cafe. I now love cheese pie, and spinach pie too.
