Good Morning Everyone!

How was your long weekend? Darren and I were quite busy here at home installing vents in our rafters as part of our “warming our home” project and making some yummy canned goodies - quick dill pickles and pickled beets. This is our first year pickling beets and it went quite well, we had a taste of the leftovers last night with dinner – delicious!  I know they will be a divine treat on a dark winter day.

In case you were wondering, we used the recipes from Joy of Cooking: All About Canning & Preserving.

There are now more floral notecards in our shop! These are very similar to our peony notecards in that they are professionally press printed on pearl cardstock giving the finished piece a cool iridescent sheen.
