Every year Darren and I drive around London to look at Christmas lights. Not just any Christmas lights, but the houses that are completely over the top with decorations for the holidays as if in competition with the Grizwold’s. It’s a big part of how we keep things simple this time of year. We don’t put up many decorations ourselves and we don’t spend hours at the mall buying the perfect gift for everyone on our list, so this is one of our annual traditions to help get us in the festive spirit, appreciate the art form, and get a good laugh when business stress is at it’s annual peak getting orders out to everyone on time.
Here are some of our favourites from this year’s Christmas lights drive:

And now, the grand finale…
We took an aunt and uncle from out of town with us this year and they said you really have to see it to believe it.
What are some of the simple things you do to get yourself in the Christmas spirit? Do you drive around to look at over the top Christmas lights? Or do you put them up yourself? And what do you prefer, lights or inflatables? How do you relieve the stress of the season?
Thank you!! This is so happy and festive!!
And the tire snowperson IS BRILLIANT!!! 8*)
You’re very welcome! Are there any over the top houses in your neighbourhood?
Not a one!! I live in New Hampshire, USA…I think we are too cheap to pay for the electric?! 8*)
