Behind the Scenes – Pictures of the Beach in Port Stanley

Pictures of the Beach - Behind the Scenes in Port Stanley

The beach is one of those places that help me relax almost instantly.

The rhythmic sound of the waves…

The breeze blowing through my hair…

The hot sun soaking into my bones…

The fresh air…

Water as far as the eye can see…

Dreamy right? I sooo wish I lived closer. I can’t complain, it’s only an hour away. But still, it’s an hour away. Not someplace I can visit any dang time I want to. Often? Yes. Daily? If only…

The beach is a truly special place at sunrise. It’s quiet. Such a beautiful way to start the day.

Around these parts, at this time of year, sunrise clocks in at 6am. Minus the 1 hour drive and the 30 minutes it takes me to get out the door, that means I need to get up at 4:30am – at the latest.

As refreshing as the beach is at dawn, my alarm clock definitely is not.

So I started photographing pictures of the beach at sunrise. Capturing that soft morning light. The beautiful, muted colours.

Then on those days that are too cold/rainy/busy/tiring/short/whatever I can look at the gorgeous beach prints on my wall and feel warm, dry, at ease, inspired, and abundant.

And I hope you do too.

Need a bit of beach time right now to help you relax? Here’s a few pictures of the beach I love to look at after a long day.

Feels good right?

I’d love to hear from you! How are you feeling today? How were you feeling before you looked at these photographs and how are you feeling after? Let’s chat in the comments!

In my next post I’ll be talking about whether art can be an investment or if it’s just about surrounding yourself with things that make you happy.
