Winter is upon us this week!
I think I speak for most people when I say it’s beautiful as long as I don’t need to go out in it. And what better way to balance the two than with beautiful winter photographs!
All the pretty snow without all the cold.
So I’ve put together a collection of my best winter landscape photographs to get you in the mood
Elviage Pearl
Darren’s gotta take at least some credit for this one. He drove by these trees and thought of me.
Vanilla Dream
I’ve photographed this tree sooo many times, but this one is the only one that made the cut. And now, sadly, it’s lost a branch and the trees on other side have grown so large that the scene just isn’t the same.
Tree in Winter
This was the very first of my winter tree collection. I made it the first winter we lived in this house and used it on the Christmas card we sent to all our friends and family.
Tree in Winter is also available as a wallpaper for your laptops and iPhones, get yours here >
Where the Wild Things Are
Made on the way home from a family Christmas party. I saw this scene and just couldn’t resist. I pulled over and made everyone wait in the car while I photographed this gorgeous forest.
Frosty Fields
Doesn’t it just make you think of cross country skiing?
Latent Beauty
A favourite of mine from an orchard in Niagara. Such a fun place to visit in the winter!
Alright, now it’s up to you! If you had to choose, which is your favourite?
