clear the clutter!

Backgrounds are very important elements of photographs. Try and keep the area surrounding your subject simple and free of distracting elements that may draw attention away from the person you are photographing. This can be accomplished in a few different ways:

1. Take a minute and carefully move these distracting elements away from the person or area that you will be photographing.
2. Move the person that you are photographing to an area with less clutter.
3. Change your camera angle so that the clutter is less evident.
