Benjamin Moore has recently announced their colour trends for 2015; a set of 23 colours that work well together and this year they’re suggesting using a monochromatic colour scheme. Try using lots of shades of one colour in warm, cool, dark, and light layers to create a subtle and relaxing tone-on-tone look in your space. You can even let it flow from room to room for continuous, soothing, whole home colour.
Benjamin Moore's 2015 Colour of the Year - Guilford Green
A neutral that’s natural. A silvery green that works with, well, everything. No worries. No second thoughts. Just a brush dipped in a can, whooshed on a wall, and a whole lot of happily ever after.

Tried, True & Utterly New
Carry on tradition with a twist. Classic goes on a graceful journey from rose petal to wineberry, to deepest plum.
Ground Yourself in Green
Take inspiration from a citrus grove, a pot of lemon verbena, a sprig of silver sage…
Quiet on the Set!
The new opulence – Romantic, minimal, luminous and pale. Lush taupes and barely-there pinks upstage with just a whisper.
I just know my Mom will love the Quiet on the Set colour collection! Heck I like it and I’m not into pinks! But they’ve used them sparingly with grays and taupes to just give a pop of feminine colour. So Mom, definitely click through and check out the rooms they’ve put together.
Experience a case study in shape. Tame the light with cool lap pool blues, and twilight azures.
Which colour collection do you prefer? Personally, I love blues, so California Cool is definitely for me. How about you? Are you inspired by any of Benjamin Moore’s 2015 trend palettes? How do you plan to use them?
Creating soothing art for busy people. Large modern abstract minimalist art prints for your coastal home decor.
I believe that life doesn’t have to be busy in order to be full, rich, and beautiful. I’ve always had a unique way of seeing the world, often through rose-colored glasses, and always with an open heart.
