We’re working hard to put together our display for our very first live-and-in-person sale and thought you might be interested in seeing what we’ve got planned. We’re definitely open to both display and image/product suggestions so feel free to leave lots of comments. Planning on attending the Handmade Festival on May 8th (10am-4pm)? Be sure to skip down to the bottom of this post because we’ve got a special treat just for you!
Our display
- background stands supporting a cream coloured curtain (need weights for background stands)
- suspend prints from background?

Our tabletop
- folding 6-foot table covered with a nice, light coloured table cloth (or hip bright print?)
- black 8×10 portfolio containing all of our imagery

Attending the Handmade Festival
Will you be attending the Handmade Festival? We’ve got a treat for you! Visit our online shop, choose your favourite OPEN EDITION photograph, and email us the title before May 4th, 2010, then, come by our table on Saturday, May 8th, 2010 and we’ll have a free 4×5 inch mini print ready and waiting for you. Wow, Jennifer, you are so amazingly organized! I’m sure your display is going to look fantastic and you will do great! I wish I was in Canada to visit.

You are amazingly organized, and there’s a lot of stuff I wouldn’t have thought of (like the candy dish). The only thing I might also suggest are blank receipt sheets to fill out when you make a sale? Some people buy for display at their business and need a receipt. Plus it’s one more way to get your logo and contact info into people’s hands. If I know you though, you’ve probably already got these ready and just didn’t list them…
Ack, I can’t believe I missed this! All the Mother’s Day prep had me completely distracted 🙁 I hope it was a success!
