How I Chose the Poppy Photographs for My New Collection

Do you like sneak peeks darling? Well you’ve come to the right place! I’m getting my new poppy photographs ready to launch next week, so I thought I’d share with you how I chose my new images!

First I loaded all 361 photographs onto my computer. I took a quick flip through them and marked which images are “obvious outs”, these are photos that at a quick glance won’t make the cut either because of a poor exposure, bad composition, or it’s out of focus.

Then I made a cup of tea and poured over (see what I did there?!) the many remaining photographs. Flipping back and forth through similar frames to determine which is the absolute best.

Thirdly I shared my ten favourites with my Sneak Peek Society members, and on Instagram and Facebook to see which you all loved the most.

Finally, I tallied the votes and compared your favourites to mine to come up with the five heroes that will become part of my spring collection.
