limited editions + holiday deadlines

Grandview Lake #1, 11″ x 14″ limited edition photographic print

We’ve added a limited edition photograph section to our shop!  And we’re really excited about it!  We just got the proofs back from the lab at the end of last week and I’m quite happy with how well they’ve turned out.

After much testing we’ve settled on offering these as traditional photographs; C-prints made at a professional photo lab on mat paper.  As much as I enjoy the texture of various inkjet papers, I still feel that conventional photographic prints are the best choice for me, especially since they are very archival.  I have access to a few very talented printers in high-end labs here in London whose job it is to make beautiful prints all day, every day.  So I’ll let them do what they do best, leaving me to do what I do best, taking photographs.

Edition Information

• 8×10 inch edition of 100
• 11×14 inch edition of 50
• 16×20 inch edition of 25
• 24×30 inch edition of 10

These photographs are printed slightly smaller than the sizes listed above so that they fit within a standard size window mat with a thin white border around the top and sides, and with a thicker border along the bottom where it will be signed and numbered.

The first photograph that is available as a limited edition is Grandview Lake #1 which was taken in Muskoka in September 2009.  We’ll be adding more pieces to this area in the coming weeks so be sure to check back often.

Holiday Shopping Deadlines

We’ve also put together our holiday shopping deadlines, so if you’re interested in purchasing a photographic product as a gift you’ll need to do so by the following dates:

• within Canada: December 11, 2009
• USA: November 23, 2009
• International: November 16, 2009
