I’ve been soooo stressed out lately. Between our home renos (catch all the details on my Instagram stories), an elimination diet, and about twelve other things around the studio that need my attention, I just haven’t had time to ease into summer. And since it started a month ago I should be in full summertime-fun-time mode.
But I’m not.
I’ve been practicing yoga and meditation every day, and I’m sure it’s been helping, but when I woke up this morning and realized my car needed to go in for repairs it was the straw that broke this camel’s back. I flung myself into Darren’s arms and wanted to cry. It’s all just too much stuff, and not enough nourishing of my soul.
It’s been too long since I’ve been in the woods. Too long since I’ve been in silence. Too long since I’ve been on vacation. And too long since I’ve been to the beach.
But this leads me to tell you about my new and restful photographs that are coming out next week.
And I can’t wait to share them with you. Because every time I look at them, every time I really look at them I’m transported back to those quiet mornings and evenings on the beach.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, or even if you’re just smitten with modern coastal decor, then mark you calendar: my new modern coastal beaches will be available Tuesday, July 25th at Noon EDT.
I know they’ll help you make your home a more relaxing and creative nest.
