I made this winter tree picture for the cold weather haters among us – myself included. Soft white snow and sky combine with the gentle black and white of the trees help me to find beauty in winter. The leafless trees remind me to look inward, take care of myself, and rest for a few months each year. And the grouping of trees remind me of a family, and that I should cuddle up with mine in the cool weather.
The minimalism and neutral tones make this image easy to hang almost anywhere, though my favourite spots are in a lodge-style living room or dining room.
