One of the questions I get asked the most about is which prints work with a specific paint colour. A collector recently told me she has a coastal theme in her blue and grey living room, and she was wondering if I had any prints to complement Benjamin Moore’s Philipsburg Blue.
Darling, you’re talking my language! I love looking at and talking about colour, but one thing that you may not know about me is that blue is my favourite! I’ll take any shade, the richer and darker the better.
So I’ve gathered seven of my photographs that work nicely with Philipsburg Blue, plus two bonus images because I just couldn’t resist.
It was a tough call, but I think my favourite of the bunch is The Falls. Here’s a peek at how it looks with the horizontal version, but it would look great with the vertical too.
Loving the minimal vibe but hoping for something a little more abstract?? I’ve got Coyote in the Woods (below) or In the Clouds, both with lovely soft blues.
If you like slightly darker tones there’s Chantal Strolls Along the Shore and Summer’s Final Glimpse.
And if you’re digging that sun flare / mountain vibe, then take a peek at Majestic Mornings too.
If you’re thinking of something that’s more beachy I’ve got boatloads (ha ha, see what I did there?!)…
Now, I know I said I’d give you seven suggestions, and I’m already past that, but I thought it would be silly not to show you how Philipsburg Blue looks with two of my most popular prints Spring Shore and Sandy.
So there’s seven (plus) art suggestions to coordinate with Benjamin Moore’s Philipsburg Blue. Are there any other paint colours you’ve been wondering about? Let me know in the comments!
